It Was Only A Matter of Time…

MSN Entertainment: After her “firing,” the 30-year-old [Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth] claimed former contestant Ereka Vetrini had called her the “n-word.” Vetrini has vigorously denied the allegation, as have executive producers Mark Burnett and Trump.

Umm… right… (keep reading)

Yeah, like that’s all I had to say on the matter.

Who cares?! Here’s a bit of fact: Omarosa was a confrontational bitch that took every opportunity to bite back almost everyone. And that’s fine with me. I’ve got no issues with that: if that’s who she is, than so be it. She was also, as last night’s program showed, a lazy person by nature that constantly tried to get out of work whenever she could. Doctor: You’ve got a bump. Omarosa to everyone else: I have a concussion and I’m working through pain. Yeah, so much pain that you played basketball on the day you got the bump? Nice try, sweetheart.

Then there’s the theatrics. Lemme tell you something about this woman: don’t ever hire her. The ongoing constant that I’ve seen from this woman that she’s willing to work every angle (ethical and unethical) and has been trading on her acting ability to get through the business world. Good for her, but bad for whoever hires her! Why did she burst into tears (and into the boardroom) on the day she got fired? Because she thought it could help her. I thought Donald was going to throw her out right then, when she burst into their closed door meeting! Completely unprofessional, but it kept them off balanced and that helps her. Why did she give up the finances when her team [physically] lost that money during the flea market challenge? I’m betting that she probably realized money got lost and wanted none of the blame – again, good for her but bad for her company. The only thing she did do worth anything was sell a piece of that crappy artwork a few weeks ago – oh-ho! acting at work again!

Don’t ever hire her. Why? Because she spends more time covering her ass than she does doing her job. If you’re not-black, she’ll play a race card to advance or destroy. If you’re a man, she’ll play a sexual harassment card. If you’re a woman, she might just do that same thing or worse, claim that you slept to the top. The only person that would be safe would be a like-minded black woman which wouldn’t happen because there’s no way someone like Omarosa would hire someone like herself: too much competition.

You see folks, Omarosa is in fact a racist. If Ereka called her “the n-word”… ya know what? I’m tired of having to play nice-nice with that word, when other people can call me honky, dego, guinea, wop, so forget it: get a thinker skin and rediscover your sense of humor and the fact that people are allowed to voice an option! So if in fact, Ereka called Omarosa a nigger, than that’s their business: both of the women involved. Ereka wasn’t running the competition, so there’s no discrimination. Ereka and Omarosa only had to work together as a team and guess what? If Ereka tried to get Omarosa fired from the show, it’s probably because Omarosa was a lazy, whiny bitch – being black doesn’t protect you from not pulling your weight on a team project! I felt that Nick was a lazy ass bastard for the times that he stopped helping his team, just because “he didn’t agree with their tactics”. That’s just bullshit, whatever color you are.

Thinking that you should be held to a different standard because of your skin tone makes you a racist. Most people talk about the times when someone is kept down in a situation, when defining racism – I look for an imbalance in either direction. And in this case, that’s what we have. Omarosa strutted around the suite thinking that she was above everyone else because of her ethnic background (which is bullshit since she’s American anyway!) and is now whining that she got fired. Deal with it.

And as for Ereka’s name calling, here’s a conversation from their trip to Boston: Omarosa tells Ereka to stop being a baby about osmething. Ereka says, “Oh like that’s not calling the pot black.” Omarosa replies, “Oh there you go… you should get past your racism.” !! Oh my god, what a idiot. Omarosa was the one that brought racism issues on camera. And you can’t tell me that the producers of the show would let something juicy like that go past them without airing! And why are the two producers quoted in the article as saying nothing happened, even though they weren’t present for every minute? God forbid a white person get called a racist in the press. It’s one of the biggest fears of anyone

living the public life in America, because the press is judge and jury in such cases and they are relentless in their sentencing. It’s ridiculous but it’s required that the boys issue a press release condeming such comments.

How can I say all of that? Kwame was the Project Manager that brought Omarosa into the boardroom to be fired. He made that decision and when Donald asked him, he gave her up straight away. Yet you don’t ever hear Omarosa talk bad about the man that served her up on a plate to get fired. Oh, no, of course not – he’s black. She seems to have ignored that fact entirely and keeps on going on about other people. I’m just hoping that her 15 minutes are just about over, because I’m tired of this woman.

What a nightmare this would be: a Rodham-Clinton/Manigault-Stallworth ticket for the 2008 Presidency. PHEAR!

  1. Yeah, and when Erica said “wow, look the pot’s calling the kettle black” Omarosa thought it was racial too.

She’s overly sensitive. VERY poised, but far too sensitive and she has her buttons easily pushed.

  2. Exactly! For both of them actually – Erica was a bit unstable too, but at least she wasn’t a whiny backstabbing louse!

  3. She was just on Oprah and pulling the same tactics you talked about before. Turns out she took Heidi out yesterday to difuse her while she’s on camera today. Very smart on her part but you are right on the money: she spends more time covering her ass than actually doing work. Reminds me of the person who claims disability and spends all their time in courtrooms, filling out paperwork, avoiding private investigators, and spending all their time on the phone just to get a check, when the whole time they could have been just working a regular job and getting twice or more of what they got illegally collecting disability.

Ugh…makes me sick. And what DO you call a black person who claims racism when there wasn’t any?

  4. What to call her? That’s easy… you can call her what she is, regardless of what color she is: she’s a racist, plain and simple.

  5. Have you checked out Omarosa’s web site? Besides President Clinton and Gore, every single picture, about 100 of them, are of her and another black person. She has ZERO pictures of a single white person among her friends, coworkers, etc. She’s the f-ing racist bitch.

  6. Well she’s just a baldface liar. And lazy.

She was on the Apprentice again last night and (once again) she lied! Right on camera…even though she knew it was going to be aired. But since this time it seems she’s an equal opportunity liar (she lied to Kwame and made him look incompetent) the truth is even more obvious: she’s just lazy and vendictive. What an idiot.

Isn’t her 15 minutes up already?

  7. Omarosa is probably an old Swahili name that means “whiney bitch”. She is vindictive and two-faced. As already stated, she lied to Kwame and the others on camera about the Jessica Simpson transportation issue. She was confronted at the dinner table and then in the hotel room. I highly doubt this kind of deceit can be edited since she spoke the words. Even Saturday Night Live was making fun of Omarosa and her “bonk” to the head. It was quite hilarious!!

I’m glad she got fired from “The Apprentice” and from her other four (that’s right) jobs in D.C. during the Clinton administration. She thought she was classy with her Louis Vuitton handbag but she is just a highly educated ghetto ho.

  8. LOL @ Frey! I hated the way she lugged that LV bag around to every assignment too! But I didn’t realize she was fired from her DC jobs! That’s even more hilarious!

I saw an expose on her today on E! News and the reporters were emphatically calling her a liar, then one of them said, “she just got a job at Star Magazine and she said she’d like to do her own talk show…but she’s probably lying about that too.”

On Oprah, she said that Ereka was probably trying to use the “nigger issue” to get herself a job by saying, “I am gainfully employed and I know that Ereka is looking for opportunities and its obvious she is trying to promote herself in this way.” What??? How does being accused of calling someone a nigger make you look better?

Anyway, in my opinion, there is only one thing worse than calling a person a nigger and that is claiming that someone called you that when they didn’t.

Further and beyond Omarosa, is it just me or does it seem like the only people who see color are black people? I never judge people on what color they are, just how they treat me. But it seems like some or most black people grow up learning to carry that chocolate chip on their shoulder. Do you think they would have cheered for OJ if he were the white man who got off for murdering his black wife and her black male friend? Would L.A. have had the riots if Rodney King were a Jewish guy who got beat up? (And hello, he’s always in trouble for something these days.) And why do those black teenagers stare me down every time I stop at a stop sign and they cross in front of my car? And don’t get me started on the Anglo-College Fund or the fact that they call themselves African-American. The only famous person I know that can really call themselves that is Charlize Theron! Argh!!!

Can’t we all just get along?!

  9. Okay, just because she’s got pictures of her and a bunch of black friends on her website doesn’t mean that she is a racist. How many white people have tons of black friends? And I don’t mean people they know from work. That doesn’t make them racists! It depends on where you live and who you meet. Myself, I have all sorts of friends from all sorts of racial and religious backgrounds, but I live in a very diverse place where I get to meet all sorts of people. I just wanted to say that because I think it was silly to use that as a measuring stick.

Now about that throughly unpleasant and completely toxic woman – she wouldn’t know a strong black woman if she farted one out of her arse. She’s in an insult to strong black women everywhere and strong women in general. She’s lazy. And while she’s not stupid and has a few degrees, she’s certainly not bright in any way that’s not related to putting herself front and centre.

I think she’s what my mother – with 38 years of working with pyschos at a mental hospital – would call a narcassistic sociopathic psychopath. It’s all about her. “Well, enough about me. What do you think about me?” Everything is exaggerated from her resume to her public histrionics over everything. If anyone had called her any name, as she claims, let alone let lose the ‘n-word’, it would have aired from and centre for the sheer juiciness. Recently, she was served with a cease-and-desist letter, so she has to stop telling this particular lie.

She has no real business experience. If she did, she’d trumpet it. Her ‘jobs’ at the White House consisted of fancy titles for what basically were internships, aka scutwork, and she kept getting shuffled around because of her ability to piss off co-workers. She’s from the bitchy fake world of beauty pageants and she hasn’t left the backstabbing and finger-in-the-eye stuff back on the catwalk.

Exactly who is offering her anything like a book contract or a tv talk show? Must be more of her grandiose crap. I feel sorry for her poor husband, and any kids they might eventually have.

  10. Omarosa’s is ridiculous we can all agree on that but I can’t agree with Frey’s comments on April 10th at 2:24p at all on this. You’re using Omarosa as an excuse to air your ill feelings towards Blacks.

Do you honestly think Black people are the only one’s who see color. I’m only 28 and I got called Nigger growing up by white kids. I have people call me “Brotha” at work because I’m black to this day. We all see color. It’s convenient for you to pretend like you don’t but if you really didn’t see color you wouldn’t describe the chip on Black people’s shoulder as being a “chocolate” chip.

You don’t like the way the Black teenagers look at you when your at the stop sign????

Your upset because you don’t like the way that a group of teenagers look at you????

Yeah, and Omarosa’s upset by Erika’s comments about the kettle. But neither one of you all are being reasonable.

Let me guess thoughts of car-jacking go through your head. It’s okay. They go through mine too and I am Black. But I realize I’m just being racist against my own people and scared for no reason because I’ve never been car jacked by any person. I’m not mad at you. I’ve been trained just like you to be scared of them.

Why do you have a problem with the term “African-American”? You feel that it’s inacurate? Well is “Black” accurate? No. Most Black people are actually brown.

Can we all just get along? Sure we can Frey. But not until You address all of those ill-feelings your harboring towards us that lie just below your surface.

  11. Thank God you said something David (though i believe it’s Diane who made those comments on April 10th at 2:24p)…while i do believe that Omarosa is missing a few cards from her deck, and in fact, may not even own a degree of any kind, i think that Diane is just using this podium to voice her rac…i mean…”ill feelings toward blacks.”

Diane said: Further and beyond Omarosa, is it just me or does it seem like the only people who see color are black people?

KB said: Actually Diane if you really did your homework you would see that we are not the ones who see colour…you are. Question…has there ever been a black president?? Do ya think that would EVER happen without him or her being shot? How many black CEOs have you heard of? Think about it.

Diane said: I never judge people on what color they are, just how they treat me. But it seems like some or most black people grow up learning to carry that chocolate chip on their shoulder.

KB said: That’s a “judgment” if I EVER heard one! And trust me…chocolate or vanilla chip, whatever the flavour…we obviously learned this from somewhere!

Diane said: Do you think they would have cheered for OJ if he were the white man who got off for murdering his black wife and her black male friend?

KB said: Do ya really think this would have even made the news if that were the case??…uhhh…NO!

Diane said: Would L.A. have had the riots if Rodney King were a Jewish guy who got beat up? (And hello, he’s always in trouble for something these days.)

KB said: The LA riots occurred because how many WHITE cops who obviously beat a man silly (regardless of the fact that he is a criminal) got away with that. Trust me, no Jewish guy would have been beat up by cops!!! I suppose you really think that other black guy who was shot…was it 57 times…by 5 white cops, in front of his doorway, was really a threat to those cops, eh? I don’t suppose that one or two shots in the knee would have sufficed, if they really thought their lives were in danger, right? Was that in New Jersey? PULEASE!

Diane said: And why do those black teenagers stare me down every time I stop at a stop sign and they cross in front of my car?

KB said: Maybe it’s because you stare them down with obvious contempt and hatred?

Diane said: And don’t get me started on the Anglo-College Fund or the fact that they call themselves African-American.

KB said: Not sure if you mean the Negro College Fund, but what about it? For years only whites were getting into prestige schools and it had nothing to do with education…just the “Wing” donated by their fathers. So why not give others a chance?

Diane said: The only famous person I know that can really call themselves that is Charlize Theron! Argh!!!

KB said: Wow, really? You know her personally???? Again…oh PULEASE!!

Diane said: Can’t we all just get along?!

KB sadi: Yeah really…why can’t WE all just get along!

  12. I need to chime in here.

You ask: has there ever been a black president?? I say, look what we have to work with. Sharpton? Jackson? Um… Sharpton was shot because he’s a loud mouthed racist that jumps on people’s backs to get press. He will never get my vote because he is a dispicable human being without any clear stance on issues, unless he can profit by them. Jackson has done wonders after his failed campaign and is a very talented diplomat; the problem with his first campaign was “I’m black – vote for me”. I don’t care if a candidate is plaid: talk to me about issues and you’ll get my vote. Maybe in 2008, Jackson can return and run a better campaign. Gimmie a black, or yellow, or red, or white candidate that can handle questions I can agree with and they’ll get my vote.

re the LA Riots – I don’t give a fuck WHY they rioted. What I care about is THAT they rioted at all. NOTHING excuses that, plain and simple. OJ killed two white people and got off – was there a massive riot in Palm Springs? No, and if there was a white woman holding a “no justice no pease” sign I would have the same problem with it. Enough said.

And lastly, the points you make are just as racially charged as Diane’s are, just from another angle. You are raising one group of people over another, holding them except from certain laws or demanding special treatment based on their skin tone, one way or the other. That’s not equality – that’s discrimination.

Thanks for proving my point that ANYONE can be racially biased.

  13. Oh @ David – my problem isn’t with African-American. My problem is with anything -American, including Italian-American. If you’re born here, you’re American – it should be that simple. If I was born in Italy and came here maybe; if you were born in Africa and came here, maybe. But odds are we were both born here: we’re Americans. And if more people focused on THAT more often, we’d have less problems because we wouldn’t continue to subdivide the populous and try to make everyone feel so damned special.

  14. Randy, Randy, Randy…

And you have further proven my point…WE obviously learned THIS BIAS from somewhere!

For you to even read what i wrote and come away with me being “just as racially charged as Diane,” demonstrates that YOU too, fail to see what is really happening and would rather make it seem like WE have the problem. Heck, that’s nothing new…we’ve always been the problem, right?

You don’t care why they rioted? Huh, don’t you see the irony here? That’s why the riots happened…so many white people don’t care…we deserve it…we look at white people funny…all we do is rob banks and commit murders…ahhh…the problem black people. And the more and more people “don’t care” the more this vicious circle is going to continue. The riot was the symptom…maybe you should try to help work on the problem. And all you have to do i open your eyes.

Funny how you can only think of the negative leaders…Martin Luther King ring a bell? They shot him before he could even rise to the challenge my friend.

Anyhoo, the point is this conversation was supposed to be about Omarosa. As i have said already, i don’t disagree with most of the comments about her AND i acknowledge that there are some bad seeds in our group, as well as all racial groups (i’m pretty sure Jeffery Dahmer, Manson are quite the embarrassment, eh?). The problem is our friend Diane, who turned this into something ugly. She took it to another level and i felt the need to address it.

I did not raise another group higher than another, i merely pointed out facts and oddities that have occurred recently. If you think that getting shot 57 times, without evidence of a weapon, or based on an assumption…being shot like an animal…is demanding SPECIAL treatment, then you scare me.

I am not saying that we should be treated differently because of skin tone, quite the contrary, I am asking for us to be treated equally with regards to any crime, education, jobs, everything.

It’s such a shame that you choose to see our struggle as so obviously a lame matter…we are looking for something that isn’t there, right? We are the crazy ones…ahhh yes…what do you call that again? Reverse Discrimination? Maybe this does exist, but what you should realize again is that this is just a symptom. What you should look at is the WHY is this happening.

But alas, just by your words it is clear that the vicious circle continues…

  15. “For you to even read what i wrote and come away with me being ‘just as racially charged as Diane,’ demonstrates…” yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah. Maybe I came away with it because it’s the truth? You’re comments ARE racially charges.

And I do care why they rioted, but the ends don’t justify the means. That those four piece of shit cops got off does NOT give anyone the right to riot and burn their own neighborhoods, regardless of color. That’s the point that everyone that supports or excuses the riots seems to come back with. And who said “the problem black people”? Nice of your to insert your own words and try to make them mine. But you still haven’t even addressed the other examples of people that had the SAME fate pushed on them and did NOT riot.

Also, I didn’t focus on the negative leaders: I focused on the most recent in the news. MLK was shot in the youth of his political career, and could have taken the big chair in DC, but that was over 30 years ago, so I didn’t go back that far. And when did I say Jackson was a negative? If you READ what I posted, I said his campaign sucked but he has a shot again in the future, given the works he’s done domestically and abroad.

And Amadu and Rodney weren’t shot 57 times. Amadu was 41. And the cops were beyond wrong, duh. Maybe they shot because it was racial and biased. Maybe they got shot at earlier that month and were on edge. Maybe they’re were a few rednecks that wanted target practice. Who are WE to say? They’re on the streets trying to do their jobs; we weren’t handed all of the facts like the jury was. Even so, they should be fucked for it. But what would you do in the aftermath of that situation? Shoot the cops 41 times to make up for it? The case went to trial. They went to juries. If all 12 of the people there cannot convict them, then they walk. But that’s what America is about. That’s the law. Don’t like the law? Get it rewritten but you can’t walk around, picking and choosing what laws you want to follow like a salad bar, I don’t care what color you are. And if I read your comments correct, what you’re telling me is that the riots in LA were OK, b/c of a legal decision that went against public opinion. Riiiight. Nice job counsilor. If you don’t like the jury system, lobby to have it changed, but don’t hold yer breath seeing as it’s worked for over 225 years now…

I’m also amused that you bring up “your struggle”. I wonder why the Jews, the Spanish, the Indian, the Asian, the Italian, the African, the Polish, the Russian, the French, and all of the other immigrants that came to this country – willing or not – were able to integrated in the here and now without this constant struggle that the African-American continues to endure. And don’t you DARE try to throw the slave trade at me because none of us were alive to take blame for that attrocity. My ancestors were sipping espresso on the shores of Naples and Calabrese when America was fighting the Civil War, and a number of my relatives were forced to flee to New York for a bit of endentured servitude long after the war ended.

One last piece of advice: read something fully before you go calling someone a racist. You keep going on and on, citing the cases that support your claim – I keep citing cases that support both sides… wonder why that is? Maybe because I can see both sides: you only see one. And therefore that makes you *biased*.

As to Omarosa, she’s a twat to work with regardless of what color she is, which is more the point than anything else.

  16. First off Randy, you need to take it down 10 notches! Take a chill pill or something…for your own blood pressure at least. That’s the problem with talking via email etc., people tend to only read what they want.

I can’t stop you from interpreting what you read in your own way…if you think that what i have said is racially charged then so be it. Rome wasn’t built in a day and i certainly can’t change your mind or force you to see.

I never said that YOU said “the problem black people” i am merely saying what it is, or how it is both you and Diane and people like you (again not ALL white folk before you go off on that), but people LIKE you make us feel. If we talk about our struggle, just like i did, you make it seem so lame.

I’m not sure what fate you are speaking about with regards to “others” since out of all the groups in N. America and the Caribbean, we were the only group who never received a “start” after slavery. Jews to this day are getting from those who took from them and we are still waiting for our 40 acres and the mule. We were given freedom yes, but with no “means” except to go back and work for those same people who enslaved us. But anyways, that’s too long a conversation to have with you. God knows what you’ll take from this.

As for your focus on the negative leaders…you started your sentence with “Look at our choices” so i am merely pointing out that not all is bad.

I never said that Rodney was shot. Keep in mind that my conversation was originally with Diane…you jumped in. You should maybe go back to her comments and then to mine before you go off on a tangent, eh?

As for your next paragraph…i guess this is why your site is called “RandyRants”, ’cause you sure as hell are doing that. I am not suggesting that anyone should shoot the cops (and for that matter never said the riots were okay…you brought the riots up), i am simply pointing out that yet again, here is a blatant problem that we face and yet again, WE are the ones who have to accept the results. When we do and become more and more bitter, then WE are the ones who have the problems, right? so no, you didn’t read correctly, i do not think the riots were okay and yes those cops should have been punished and they weren’t…the ongoing saga. And how exactly can we change the law when it’s the same “rednecks” that run the system anyway? Maybe we should keep waiting? Maybe peace will make a difference? Oh gawd, cry me a river. Funny how you say “If all 12 of the people there cannot convict them, then they walk. But that’s what America is about. That’s the law.” When that occurred for the OJ trial, that wasn’t acceptable to sooooo many and still isn’t to this day. So instead, another court, with all white folk was set up just so you all could have him convicted, charged (whatever you call it the US) for something. No, you dint’ riot, like the nice decent people that you are, but you got your way. Look you folks have taught us that violence IS the only way. Heck, how do you think your ancestors made it to this country to begin with? Where’s Bush and the AMERICAN army now?? I forget, why did he go after Saddam, to look for Osama…confused…whatever. Did ya see Bowling for Columbine? Maybe i’m ignorant, but i’ve never heard of any weaponry created by a black man. The point here? White folks are known for violence. I know you are going to mention Haiti and Africa, but before you do, please investigate who supplied these folks with the weapons and why.

Anyway your rants tire me out, your next paragraph i believe was addressed by me in this letter a little earlier. Though i don’t know why you mention “the African” as they are all apart fo the African-American group that we have been speaking about.

And you should follow your own advice. As you will note, that NOT once did i ever call anyone a racist! And though you may FEEL that you are ‘supporting’ both sides. News for you…you aren’t. Your view is that we should just keep getting fucked up the ass, stay quiet and deal with it. As long as WE keep the peace is all you care about.

Anyhoo, this was fun! Good conversation. But as i have said before, there is nothing that i can do to change your mind. So why don’t we just agree to disagree.

    Toodles!

  17. *yawn*

Some key points here? Africans are from Africa. African-American are from America and should learn to call themeselves just “Americans” since they have as much tie to Africa as I do to Italy, unless of course the migrated here after they were born. That’s the same comment I make to all whatever-American that I encounter because it’s bullshit. You live in America, you were born here, you’re American. Anything else helps promote disparity, but that’s exactly the point, isn’t it? Equality makes everyone equal and no one seems to want that, these days.

As for “getting fucked up the ass, staying quiet and dealing with it,” those are your words, and again: you’re missing the point and this is the big one that you’ll always fail to get. If you’re getting fucked up the ass that does not give you the right to break the law nor does it entitle you to special treatment anymore than it does the person next to you. Know why? The majority of the world continuously gets fucked up the ass by whoever is in power. And when the people want change they rally, they protest, they organize, they march, they evoke change THROUGH the laws. Laws are designed for change. They evolve. They have to – they were made by humans in one time and times change. But you simply can’t decide one day that because of one government decided that you’ll set fire to your neighborhood a la Hitler’s rise to power. You can burn things sure, but if I did it, I’d be charged for arson and made poor by lack of insurance coverage. I wouldn’t be told “Oh, it’s OK because he had problems, and he shouldn’t keep quiet with his problems, so it’s OK” and I sure as shit wouldn’t get financial aid to help me rebuild what I destroyed. See the difference?

Otherwise, I’m tired of talking to a wall. How can I agree to disagree when I could easily argue your points as well? I offer both sides, I concede certain points seen through a different point of view, and what do I get back? A continuous blurb from a February school lesson telling me I’m wrong because of the color of my skin yet that it shouldn’t be considered discriminatory.

    So I’ll leave this here.

  18. Omarosa is a perfect example of what has been occurring in society. College degrees, jobs, upward mobility; everything society has used in the past to measure a person’s ‘worth’ has become meaningless. None of the trappings used in the past mean anything any longer. College degrees are very easy to obtain, with much less academic work being done then in the past. Jobs? How many freeloaders are in the public sector today? Someone like Omarosa would be the perfect government employee today: little work, but someone to parade in front of people showing the agency’s diversity.

Same with the private sector. A face to put on an advertisement, again showing how diverse the company is.

I have seen Omarosa everywhere. Someone who uses her gender and race to advance. I’ll bet Donald was the first older white male to stand up to her and call it like he saw it, and Omarosa couldn’t handle it. The ‘good old boy’s club is dead; long live the old boy’s club…

  19. Oops…

Haven’t checked this site in a few days, look what I’ve been missing!

For KB and David, I can understand *to a point* what you are saying but I think you mistook some of my comments and filled in the blanks where you saw fit.

First of all, Omarosa’s an idiot. And the black issue came up, at least for me, because she claimed she was called a nigger when she wasn’t. So what’s her problem? Why did she do that?

Second, I do not give dirty looks to these people who walk in front of my car. I think my first reaction was, “what’s wrong with that guy? Why’s he looking at us like that?” It was like, what? What did I do? And the first time this happened I couldnt’ have looked very threatening to anyone….I think I was only seven.

I agree with Randy, anyone born here should just be called American. What if you are from mixed races like I am? I would then be called Japanese-German-Irish-French-Spanish-American. And there ain’t no box on an Affirmative Action questionaire for that one.

And to ask if I “personally know Charlize Theron?” Although I do live in Los Angeles, that’s a pretty silly point to try to make. Do I have to know her personally to know she emmigrated from South Africa? Nope. I just read STAR occasionally. :) On the other hand, I have met Rosa Parks when she spoke at a Crystal Cathedral service here in CA years ago. She has all my respect in the world because she fought for equal rights in her quiet way, and through that made her voice heard around the world.

I’ve never heard Parks talk of reparations either. (Another subject I know.) That concept is completely idiotic to me. If the government gives out money to slave decendents to “make up” what happened to them then I say fine, then give them their check and send them back to Africa, restoring to where they would be now. Do you think anyone would go for that? Nope. That’s why I am not clammoring for Japanese interment camp reparations. I didn’t personally suffer so in my opinion, I do not deserve free money.

And no, we haven’t had any viable black candidates for president in recent memory, at least the ones that Randy mentioned. If he would have run I would have voted for Colin Powell. I may still. Personally, I don’t like Jesse Jackson because of his religious platform and Al Sharpton? Gimme a break. But I would have no problem voting for a candidate who actually made sense for once, no matter what color of his skin. I know right now I’d vote for Larry Elder over Dubya. Heck, these days I’d rather vote for Richard Pryor’s “None of the Above” platform in Brewster’s Millions.

As for the riots here in L.A. that just didn’t make any sense to me. If it was for some sort of vengeance it still didn’t make any sense. Forget about the fact those people mainly trashed and burned down their own neighborhood. (Afterward, they had to drive miles out of their way for a simple gallon of milk because all the corner stores were either scorched or a wreck!) Reginald Denny (white) was pulled out of his truck and beaten for what reason? For being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Okay, you say that’s what happened to Rodney King. So if you’re against it happening at all, then why perpetuate it by doing it to someone else? Its like getting your bike stolen so you go and steal someone else’s. It doesn’t make the situation better. And now you’ve created another victim of the same crime.

Seriously, I don’t have a problem with people either way. Its just when people use race, sex, religion as the reason they didn’t get what they want. But only if it didn’t actually happen. (Read: Insert Omarosa here.) I just read a story about Sweet Alice who lives in Watts and she gives her heart out to children and needy people in her community, regardless of their color. I think that’s a beautiful thing. We need more people like that.

And “our struggle”? Well, I’m a woman and I sort of see this statement like the feminist movement. Equal rights is great. But don’t go overboard trying to make up for everything that’s happened to your race or sex. I want equal pay for the same job a man does but not because I’m a woman. But because I am good at my job and work hard. But I am not going to go to the CEO, grab him by the balls and force him to give me a raise or I’ll rip his genitalia off, making it possible for him to see “my struggle” of being born without a sac. I’ll voice my opinion, take it to the board and make sure they notice me. I’ll do it like MLK did it, how Rosa Parks did it and how Colin Powell does it. Quietly, legally and professionally. In a civilized way.

And don’t think I can’t hear you now: “Oh! So now you say we’re not civilized!!!” Good grief!

  20. Hey, I’d still vote for George W – he sucks less than Johnny Boy and that’s all I expect from a candidate these days.

  21. True.

But it sucks that we have to pick the one that sucks less. I was going to say I long for the day where we could really get behind a president, like….but then who? I think we just know too much about candidates these days. I don’t want to know that Dukakis plucked his eyebrows, that Quayle couldn’t spell, that Reagan liked jelly beans, and that Clinton had bad aim. ;) I just want to know if they’ll do the job.

By the way, Kerry reminds me of Herman Munster, just with less charisma.
