Been a busy, busy weekend.

Found myself in Connecticut on this past Thursday morning, and I swear that I couldn’t remember how I got there. Now I find myself in Washington and it feels like I haven’t left at all. Almost like a short TNG Mirror Mirror episode, or something.

Surreal…

Surreal, to the extreme. Spent three of my five nights there going to a family dinner, a rehearsal dinner, and my sister’s wedding reception and all of the chaos that that can bring. The happy couple are now off to their honeymoon! Oddly, I got to WA faster than it took them to go from CT to the Caribbean. Just zipped right by – didn’t help that I still had a quarter of my mind focusing on work related issues cuz it’s an equally as busy a time at work… not the least of which is knowing that my officemate has moved out into her own office – sadness and worry prevails… If I was keeping a single that would be one thing, but who the hell knows what’ll happen now? My current – er, former – officemate ruled.

Hell, I almost went to the gym today but since my knee still hurts, I fought the temptation.

Of course, it didn’t help me mental stability to realize that I have relatives that didn’t know that I moved… like over a year ago.

Ah well… time to catch up on 12 hours of DVR captured shows.
